When Bol came out, I was very young, and got distressed after watching the harassment scene on TV. I watched it years later and instantly fell in love with the film. I think it's one of the best creations from the Pakistani media industry. The acting, the music, the storyline; I love everything. I'm surprised it isn't banned because it shows the dark side of ultra religious people. Don't religious groups hate such representations? I'm glad it isn't though, because it's just so good. I love the way it is structured as well, starting with the pardon letter and then being told as a backstory. It's a beautiful film and I recommend it to everyone
Bol is undoubtedly one of the best films created in our country and it highlighted a lot of issues at a time where the producers of this film didn't have any sense of security that createra now have due to social media and steaming sites.

A heartbreaking movie and depiction of norms present within our society. Legit can't watch this movie without shedding a tear or two.
Such a powerful movie! I get chills every time I watch it.
One of my all time faves!
